Aztec project

Requirement Summary

This project required the creation of a new headquarters for Avon and Somerset Police. The aim was to meet the specific requirements of a modern-day police facility, ensuring safety, efficiency, and the seamless operation of critical systems through innovative electrical solutions.

What We Did

Our team of experienced electrical engineers executed a range of innovative solutions to meet the requirements of Avon and Somerset Police. We established a robust low voltage distribution system, providing safe and efficient power throughout the headquarters. In addition to this, to accommodate the various pieces of equipment and appliances, a comprehensive small power system was implemented, as well as LED lighting, external lighting, emergency lighting systems, and automated lighting, to optimize illumination while minimizing energy consumption and maximising energy efficiency.

The scope of work for this project was vast, and also included the integration of motion sensors, advanced fire and intruder alarm systems, a secure access control system and door entry system, CCTV system, induction loop, disabled refuge alarm, disabled toilet alarm, structured cabling, and PA system.

Outcomes

The electrical solutions implemented, brought significant benefits to Avon and Somerset Police. The overall outcome saw a safe, efficient, and technologically advanced headquarters, supporting the police force in undertaking their day-to-day operations and providing a secure environment for their personnel and the community they serve.
